Tipos de Sistemas de Energía Solar
Basically, there are two types of Photo Voltaic Systems:
1- Grid Tied and
2- Off Grid
Grid tied systems do not require batteries. The system is connected to the utility grid. The power generated in excess of consumption during daily hours is stored in the utility grid for night usage.
The purpose of this kind of system is to reduce or elminate the energy bill.
Off Grid systems use batteries for energy storage. It is not connected to the utility grid.
The stored enegy is used during night hours. In daily hours the system provides energy for battery charging and consumption.
Off grid systems are recommended in places where there are no possibilities or is difficult to connect to the utility grid.
Básicamente hay dos clases de sistemas fotovoltaicos:
1-Interconectados con la red y
2- Autónomos
Los sistemas interconectados no requieren baterías. El sistema se conecta con la Autoridad de Energía Eléctrica. La energía que no se consume durante el día se conserva en la Autoridad para el consumo nocturno.
El propósito de este tipo de equipo es reducir el costo de tu factura de electricidad.
Los sistemas autónomos usan baterías para almacenar la energía. No están conectados a la red de la autoridad.
La energía almacenada se usa en la noche. Durante el día el sistema provee energía para el consumo y para cargar las baterías.
Los sistemas autónomos se recomiendan para lugares donde no hay posibilidad o es difícil conectarse a la red de la autoridad.
